About MedAssist® Medical Products

Medassist Group is a leading manufacturer of orthotic products (splints and braces) and the Anodyne Therapy System, for treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy and pain.

Since its beginnings in 1991 as a local distributor of orthotic products, Medassist has rapidly expanded into a nationwide company that innovates, manufactures and markets a proprietary line of more than 20 different orthotic products. All have been designed in conjunction with orthotists, occupational, physical and enterostomal therapists to provide maximum effectiveness and positive therapeutic outcomes.

The design criteria of all Medassist products relates to satisfying the needs of both patients and medical professionals in terms of therapeutic excellence, comfort, ease of application, and pleasing appearance. Since its inception, Medassist has also been an innovator in the development of care plans, policies and procedures, in-service programs and restorative regimens to assist customers in the effective use of the Medassist products.

In August of 2000, Medassist obtained the exclusive distribution contract for the Anodyne Therapy System, which is the only treatment that has been shown to symptomatically reverse Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy.

Arm Assist® Compression Sleeves

Sleeves are the ideal way to maintain limb reductions achieved through MLD and CDP techniques. They are quick and easy to apply and adjust, particularly when compared to time-consuming self-bandaging. The Arm Assist's elastomeric liner keeps the wearer's arm comfortable during extended wear.

Leg Assist® BK Compression Sleeves

LegAssist ® BK is a superior method of containing the lower leg non-elastically. Its strapping system is easily adjustable with one hand to accomodate changes in limb girth due to the pumping effect of the calf muscle.

The LegAssist ® BK uses an innovative liner to protect delicate skin while keeping the lower leg cool and comfortable. Because it is non-elastic, the LegAssist ® BK can be worn day or night.

Leg Assist® TH Compression Sleeves

LegAssist®TH can help reduce swelling from the ankle to the thigh. It is exceptionally light and cool, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods, and its unique construction minimizes migration allowing exceptional range while walking.

The LegAssist®TH can be put on in a matter of minutes and adjusted in seconds. There is never a need for re-wrapping or re-rolling bandages.
